What Does RNC Want By Criticizing Two Leading Candidates - Part 1
Now-a-days, Republican National Committee (RNC) is criticizing the two top aspirants for president. Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney are the candidates being criticized for their resolution on illegal immigration.
What is wrong with these two candidates? Romney and Giuliani are thought to be top candidates for this election. They have pretty good track records to prove it. The RNC is not doing any favors to Republicans by attacking these two people for being too conservative.
Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney are the only two Republican runners with any actual chance of winning in the primary election. If the RNC is that open-minded on illegal immigration, it definitely won't support Fred Thompson in case he makes his entry in the race. So what is that RNC is trying to prove by not supporting these two?
There is a special event to focus on. After the immigration bill fiasco in the Senate, most Republicans came to an agreement that the bill was suffering from too many problems. However it was regardless of the fact that earlier, all of them had different views on illegal immigration.
So, it is not surprising that it was generally Democrats who were in favor of this bill. Most Americans have slowly started resigning the fact that Hillary is most likely going to be America’s next president, except something surprising event takes place, like detaining Bin Laden.
If Republicans wish White House to remain in their control- which actually is believed to be the main job of the RNC - it is not the perfect time to attack the country’s two leading candidates.
